"Tides, " is an exquisite addition to the ocean series "Calm My Soul" , where a majestic wave rises, its frothy crest illuminated by the glow of sunlight. Here, amidst the shimmering spray and swirling currents, a lone surfer rides the crest of the wave with fearless abandon. Balanced on the cusp between triumph and uncertainty, I believe he reminds us of the exhilarating thrill of embracing life's challenges head-on. The tussle between our mind and heart is a story that I hope to tell through this creation of mine. Sometimes just listening to our heart without basing our actions on logic and reasoning is scary but very exciting and I wanted to capture a similar kind of thrill in this painting.
